Vote for best TV shows, theme songs, and more for ABC/People magazine special

“Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale …” of how to vote for your TV favorites! (Sorry, now you’ll have the “Gilligan’s Island” theme song stuck in your head all day.)

“Good Morning America” (GMA) had a cool segment on Monday morning where the hosts (George, Robin, Sam, and Lara) had to guess TV theme songs, with Josh as the game-show host. I would have rocked at it! The game was played to help promote a Best in TV poll from People magazine and ABC News.

The results will be presented in an ABC special with Barbara Walters.  The “Best In TV: The Greatest TV Shows of Our Time” will air in September 2012, in conjunction with ABC’s broadcast of the Emmy Awards, according to ABC.

I took the poll, but was a little disappointed that some of my favorites were not listed as options. I still managed to make my picks, though!
