Father and son play catch … and release
My husband and son had some great quality time on our vacation with a new hobby: catch-and-release fishing.
Daddy recently caught (pun intended) the fishing bug, and shared in the wormy fun with our son. They both did pretty well, but most importantly they had a great time … and Mommy got some great photos!
At one point there was a whole “school” of cousins on the dock anxiously awaiting their turns to tackle (pun always intended) the sport. We were staying at my aunt and uncle’s cottage, so the whole family was there to join in the fun.
As it turned out, the kids had fun catching a bunch of fish simultaneously, my husband practiced his patience with assisting them all at the same time, and the adults (minus my husband) got a good laugh at the juggling fish show on the dock.
So over the week, there were dozens of fish, lots of wormy and slimey hands, and a new hobby that caught on hook, line, and sinker!
