The Beach Boys kick off summer on ‘GMA’
Nothing better than waking up to a beautiful sunshine day and The Beach Boys singing on my TV!
I’ve been a life-long Beach Boys fan thanks to my childhood of summers at car shows and cruising with my family. I’ve seen them in concert many times over the years (and even met Brian Wilson in 2005, woohoo), but bummed I’ll miss their 50th reunion tour.
Thanks to “Good Morning America,” I got to watch them on my TV this morning!
Surviving original members Brian Wilson, Mike Love, and Al Jardine (RIP Dennis Wilson and Carl Wilson) put their past alleged feuding aside and gathered together to celebrate 50 years of music with their fans (old and new). Long-time member Bruce Johnston was also there to have “Fun, Fun, Fun” with the guys.
I’m ready to get out my records, 8 tracks, cassettes, CDs, and well maybe just my Ipod, and jam with The Beach Boys “All Summer Long!”
